Privacy Policy
On the website of the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University Support and Endowment Fund (hereinafter referred to as the Tech Fund), techfondas.lt (hereinafter referred to as the Website), personal data are used to administer contributions to the Tech Fund. Personal data are processed in accordance with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as the GDPR), the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania and the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University Personal Data Security Policy.

What personal data do we process and for what purposes?
The Tech Fund processes personal data on the lawful bases established by applicable data protection legislation. Personal data are collected and processed to enable supporters to make contributions to the endowment fund. The Tech Fund collects personal data provided directly by data subjects when making a contribution.
Personal data are collected when a person wishing to support the Tech Fund voluntarily makes a contribution through the Website https://techfondas.lt/.
Who do we disclose your information to?
Personal data processed by the Tech Fund may be disclosed to service providers and other parties engaged by us where necessary for the performance of contracts with data subjects.
Where required by law, personal data may also be disclosed to competent authorities or institutions, such as the police or courts.
How do we protect your information?
The Tech Fund has implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of your personal data.
How long do we retain your data?
In accordance with the legislation applicable in the Republic of Lithuania, personal data, including their storage, are processed for no longer than necessary for the purposes for which they were collected. When personal data are no longer required for these purposes, they are securely and irreversibly deleted. Personal data relating to contributions are retained for 12 months from the date of the contribution.

The exercise of data subjects’ rights is governed by the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University Rules for the Exercise of Data Subjects’ Rights.
